Crisfield, MD

We arrived at Somers Cove Marina on Thursday.  It is a huge state rum marina.  Very nice facilities but kind of empty.  Maybe they fill up in the summertime.  We hunkered down for the predicted front with accompaning storms that was moving through the area. We ended up staying for three days of rain, rain and rain along with very high winds. During a break in the weather Debbie ventured out to the museum located next to the marina that described the oyster and crabbing industry.

This is a net used to harvest crabs from the sea bed.

This is an oyster tong

Although the marina is very nice we are anxious to cruise on to our next stop St Mary's City and College MD.

Bill and Jim ventured off on the motorcycle to Walmart in Pokemoke about 25 miles away, for some needed supplies and vodka.  We need to balance out our alcohol consumption and inventory so when we arrive at Canadian Customs we won't have too many ships stores.  So far we think we can reduce the inventory to an acceptable level by mid June.  We will certainly try our best!
