Rock Hall

Yesterday we had a very pleasant cruise from Annapolis to Rock Hall.  We tied to the town's free dock that had this statue of a waterman tonging for oysters.

We heard good things from a boater on the VHF about the Waterman's Crab House.  He said they were the best crabs he might have ever had so we went there for dinner.  Jim, Bill, and Sandy had the soft shell crabs and Debbie had the crab cakes. The soft shell crab at Harry Browns was much better and about the same price.  So no more listening to anonomous voices on the VHF!

We woke up this morning to another beautiful day and had a peaceful cruise to Chesapeake City.
As we rounded a corner to enter the anchorage this what we saw.

What a surprise. Here is Seas The Day passing by the huge car carrier in the narrow C&D canal.
