We departed in bright sunshine, and passed the Dragon Boat races near Carlton at Hogs Back. I hear Tina Wibe was one of the participants. Everyone was out riding their bikes, jogging and enjoying the beautiful day until around noon when it poured. We had made it out of the lock and cruised down the canal to downtown in the downpour. Along the way Wendy hailed us and we picked her up on the side of the canal and gave her brother Stan a quick tour of the boat. After lunch we took the motorcycle down and the rain stopped so Yanik and Jacynthe could ride over to get Yanik's car in Merrickville. Its very handy having your own transportation. They left and then it started to pour again so they got a shower on the way. Yanik and Jacynthe departed for home around 5:00.
Wendy Debbie and Jim enjoyed a quite evening on the boat for dinner, catching up on our adventures and Wendy's news.
