Campbellford to Peterboro 7/28/17

After the disappointment and a few tears of no luck at Doohers we departed for Peterborough around 9:00 AM. I called the harbor host at Peterborough in hopes of meeting up with Freda Peterson in Peterborough.  I got her answering machine and left a message hoping she would call back later.  The scenery through here is not exceptional and is often a river surrounded by some cottages and shacks along with brownish water.  It was nice to get to Peterborough and check in.  We got the last spot and ended up on the gas dock for the evening.  Behn the dockmaster greeted us and informed us that Freda had sold her boat and was no longer the harbor host and that in fact he was now the harbor host, but no he did not make homemade jam so the goodie bag was what we got.  There was live music over at the Holiday Inn which we enjoyed listening to and a huge beautiful park next door to play in with Abby.  We met some new and old friends/fellow loopers and enjoyed catching up with them. The music ended around 10:00 and off to bed we went.
