Frankford to Cambellford 7/27/17

We left Frankford around 9:00 AM and made our way through the locks and lakes to Cambellford.  We thought of docking in town but decided we didn't really need to pay for dockage or electricity and we would be just fine at Lock 13 above Cambellford.  We had heard good things about Doohers Bakery and were looking forward to buying pies, cinnamon rolls, butter tarts and bread.  We had been told that you need to be there early in the morning or there will only be crumbs left!  We went to dinner at Antonia's Bistro for a lovely dinner.  I had the Osso Bucco and it was delicious.  Carrot cake and chocolate cake for dessert and a nice bike/walk back about a kilometer to Lock 13 for the night.  The chef was Indian wearing an Italian chefs hat and had worked in high end restaurants in Toronto.  He and his wife are the owners and are very involved in the restaurant.  He came and spent time with us at the table and we kidded him about being Italian.... Lots of stars out tonight.  We went back the next morning for an early run to Doohers Bakery but alas 7:30 is too early and there were only butter tarts to be had.  The recommended time to arrive is 8:30 so off we went in search of another bakery.
