Trenton to Frankford 7/26/17

We left around 8:00 AM to do a pump out and fill with water before we start up the Trent.  We had been warned that the current was tricky entering lock 1 but it was a non event and we cruised through all the locks to Frankford for a quite night on the lock wall. The water is still quite high and at two of the locks the lock tenders were unable to open the lock doors because the water was flowing over the top lock doors an creating pressure against the lower set of doors.  They had to go to the dam and release water in two cases.  This held us up a little bit, but we still arrived at our destination early in the afternoon.  Angie and Brad walked the town (that didn't take long) and it was off to bed.
And here we go!

See all the water pouring over the upper doors

Nice pic with the AGLCA burgee
