Wani Bay Day Two 8/12/17

The weather has really improved and we are enjoying our time in Georgian Bay.  I read other posts from other Loopers saying they are already heading down Lake Michigan or in the rivers heading south.  After all the time it takes to get here I can't for the life of me figure out what they are in such a big rush to get to.  This is absolutely some of the most beautiful cruising grounds anywhere and its not even the middle of August yet.

Debbie really likes Bill's beach and spent an afternoon camped out in her chair and doing her best at faux swimming.  Bill and Jennifer went kayaking and I dingyed around the islands and out to the main channel. There was the usual dog walking and boat cleaning going on and a very pleasant day.

Debbie always looks for a place to rest her cast
We all had dinner aboard C'est La Vie.  Sylvie made lasagna and Sandy made salad.  Rob came over and made Peach Blackberry crisp with some instruction and we ate a whole brick of rum and raisin ice cream with it

I spent some time today taking the feed pump for the water maker apart as it has been two years since it last ran and the pump was frozen.  After it came apart I was able to clean up the shaft and put it all back together and it works.  I will wait for another day to finish working on it
